Let SleepinBabies...Sleep

Okay, it's been long enough!

I've waited as long as I can!

Enough time has passed!

It's time to Spit It Out!

So, Here it is!

BRAGGIN TIME!

It was hard to let 'Sleepin Baby' Sleep! What an opportunity for SomeSleepyTime Photos!

If your baby is...beautiful and perfect, never cries or fusses, sleeps on schedule and burps on demand, an angel all the time, then you are the Nana!

Look, I have Two Beautiful and Perfect Grandsons! Jackson and Mason!

And I think I'd better QuitBraggin before
Jackson starts this >>>>>>>>>
and makes me

'EatCrowSoyFormula'.

I'm thinkin that this Bit of BlogBabyBraggin is not really enough exposure, so I'm going to
ShowTheWeb These Really Cute
SleepinBaby Photos of my Grandsons.

You be the Judge.
THESE or MINE

PS...It's Okay if you can't decide! Those 'SleepinBabies' are adorable, TOO!

KnittingWorkout with Scarlet & SockWizzardess!

His and Her Nests. Do they exist at your house? They do at SuKnitWitty's, but not close enough together to play KnittingFootsie!
Speaking of Footsie Knitting...it's been six months since I took
Susan-B's Sock Knitting Class and
I'm now the epitome of Scarlet O'Hara's "I'll worry about that tomorrow".
Fore Gone With The Wind are my pretty purple sock...
yep, it's still one and it's still not done.

In the meantime the
SockWizzardess is on number
KaBillionth pair...
so that adds up to
TwoKaBillion Socks...
but whose counting!

I guess I'm In the 'Working Out To Knit Mode'!!!

I've worked up a Sweat lifting baskets of yarn
from one shelf and putting them on a higher shelf.
Re-arranged the Nest...moved the chair,
the ottoman, the side table the baskets then
moved them all back where they were.
Walked a couple of miles between
the studio and the nest
with a dozen WIP's and knitted a row or two...really fast.
Soon, I will be a
'Lean, Mean Knitting Machine'

I don't want anyone to think I've been 'Slackin On KnittinThinkin'.
I eat, sleep, dream and read Knitting!
That's part of the Workout Mode, and I get lots of help from outside sources like Judith at the Wool N Cotton Shop with the latest
'Special Issue of Interweave Knits'.
Knits you can do in a weekend....for me many long weekends.
But, I was sold on this issue as soon as I saw the little boy sweater on the cover.
OMGosh! There's my Grandson Jackson on the cover.
He was two weeks old today.
I'm going to make that sweater in Vanna's Baby Yarn in blue and yellow.
I may start it tomorrow, cast on for 18 mo - 2yrs., knit really fast and have it done by December...
2010.

Fall and BasketBall...Thankful...For!!!

Remember when your English Teacher assigned the Essay Writing Titled
"The Things I Am Most Thankful For"
(even Teachers in Texas ended in prepositions)
I know, I'm a little early for ThanksGiving, but the Texas Fall Weather seems to be upon us, and I'm soooooo...
#1. Thankful for the Hot Summer to be gone.

In my 'Thankful Essay' assigned by my Basketball Coach/English Teacher,
the weather would not have been at the top the list.
He would have had a 'hoot' at that.
More than likely my essay would have been a list
with proper spellin and grammar,
Things I Am Thankful For

1. My Mama and Daddy.....I suffered from 'FCS'....FirstChild Syndrome
2. Being Taller than my TeamMates....Not so good when it came to Boys.
3. My Basketball Coach..BrownNosin..altho, I did think he was the greatest.
4. My Best Friend Nancy...Standing next to me...She would pass me the ball
when #4 would not for Nothin. (See more of #4 and me in 1963....Here)
5. My Homemaking Teacher Mrs. Browning...She taught me to Crochet and Knit

And that brings us Full Circle from the 1960's to
2009 Things I Am Thankful For.
#2. I'm Thankful for my Friend and Knitting Teacher Susan-B
I'm learning so many neat Knitting Stitches and Techniques from her....like the Diamond Lacy Scarf I'm Test Knitting for her October Classes at the
Wool N Cotton Shop.
Susan has designed Five Scarf Patterns for the classes,
and fellow Wednesday Trio'er Gina is a Tester, too...
or should that be Tester two...nope,
I think, too is gramatically correct.
Did you notice the Two Beautiful Journals in the picture with my
WIP LaceScarf?
They are gifts from Susan, and I'm sure she is expecting some
KnitTestNotes to be recorded.
But I just can't bring myself to mess them up by writing in them with my
Texas Spellin and Grammar skills.
Maybe, I will pretend to be writing an Essay for Coach Moore.
That'll shape up the Spelling and Grammar.

PS...Susan, Here's my first entry in the Butterfly Journal.
Rowe 1: K1,P1,K1,P1,K5,P2,K2tog,K1,YO,K1,YO,K1,SKPO,P2,K5,Pl,K1,P1,K1.

PPS...Sue, Nice job on this writing. Grammar=A+, Spelling=B+...
you mis-spelled ROWE.
In this context it is ROW. Coach Moore

Bubba's...Better In Texas!!!

After having dug to a depth of 10 feet last year, New York scientists found traces of copper wire dating back 100 years and came to the conclusion, that their ancestors already had a telephone network more than 100 years ago.

Not to be out-done by the New Yorkers, in the weeks that followed, in California an archaeologist dug to a depth of 20 feet, and shortly after, headlines in the LA Times newspaper read:
'California archaeologists have found traces of 200 year old copper wire and have concluded that their ancestors already had an advanced high-tech communications network a hundred years earlier than the New Yorkers.

One week later, a local newspaper in Texas , reported the following:
After digging as deep as 30 feet in his pasture near Cut-n-Shoot, Montgomery County, Texas, Bubba Rathbone, a self-taught archaeologist, reported that he found absolutely nothing.

Bubba has therefore concluded that 300 years ago, Texas had already gone wireless.

Speaking of Bubbas. Here's BabyBubba with his BigBubba and HiTekie Daddy.

Happy OneWeek Birthday, BabyBubba!!!!
NanaKnitWitty's 'RockTheWeb' Baby Picture...'In Daddy's Hands'.

Gotta include some Knitting News....after all this is SuKNITwitty!

BabyBubba models the latest in BabyBibs...Bibs for a BitBigger BabyBubba.

He's thinking, "Thanks Nana's Friend, I'll grow into them in no time".

SuKnitWitty and the Bubba's say

HAPPY BIRTHDAY .... CONNIE MARIE.

Pink Saturday!!!!!!

Why????Well, because Beverly at How Sweet The Sound says
"GET PINK...It's Not Just a Color...It's an ATTITUDE!"

So last Saturday I 'GOT A PINK ATTITUDE' and joined 166 other bloggers for
PINK SATURDAY...not as SKW, but as CollectInTexas Gal.

My Pink Topic had to do with the Pink Sewing Carousel on the Pink List and in the picture above.
But, that's not the most AmazingThing about Pink Saturday.

I had 54 Comments...Yes, I said 54.

I felt like 1/4 of a Yarn Harlot...knitters know what I mean.

Anyway here's the link to my First Pink Saturday. Go See...don't worry about commenting, my head is already bigger than a PinkBag of Cotton Candy.

While you are there you can visit some of the 'Pinkies' listed under 'Pink Saturday Blogs'...they are soooo Fun, Creative, Talented, Sharing, and more.....just like Knitters and Crocheters.

PS...Please come back to SKW and Leave Your Comment...I promise not to get a Diaper Caddy sized head.
PPS...Next time you see me, I may have PINK Haaair,Honey!
